While Upstate Hemp Co has long been my favorite hemp flower provider, I was afforded a nice opportunity to try out some Lifter hemp from 4FathersCBD. 4Fathers is where I have been getting my CBD oil from so I know they carry excellent product. This batch if Lifter boasted 17% CBD content.
Opening the package I immediately was aware of the pungent aroma. The smell had fruity tones to it. The flowers were dark in color with striking red hairs throughout and nicely covered in trichomes.
The flower is an extremely dense and very sticky. Breaking it apart in my fingers left quite a bit of residue on my fingertips.
Lifter had probably the smoothest and most pleasing smoke of any hemp I have tried to date. The denseness of the flower carried over to a very slow burning smoke that stayed lit pretty much throughout the smoking session.
My first experience with Lifter was after a night of drinking and my hangover was promptly taken care of. Subsequent sessions were on normal mornings and my head still became very clear as I focused on my tasks of the day.
This batch of Lifter, and the strain, is an excellent early morning smoke to begin your day.
